ASYN completed the basic engineering for electric arc furnace dedusting system and subsequent basic and detail engineering of the new system.YAZD Rolling Mill Complex is one of the most important production plants of private sector in IRAN which has production capacity of ingot steel about 300,000 tpy.

ASYN completed the basic engineering for electric arc furnace dedusting system and subsequent basic and detail engineering of the new system.
Electric Arc Furnaces were equipped with identical DEC (Direct Evacuation Control) systems composed of elbow, a straight elbow duct, a combustion chamber, short water cooled ducts, a gas cooler, a pulse jet bag filter and two fan.
According to the basic engineering off- gas system had four basic problems:
- Because of poor scrap, cooler duct was shut and off gas didn’t cool sufficient.
- The hood capacity wasn’t sufficient for charging duration.
- The hood section wasn’t suitable.
- The fan capacity wasn’t sufficient for charging duration.
The detail engineering consisted of the flowing item:
- Design a new hair pin cooler
- Design a new hood for melting bay
- Use a new fan and filter for charging duration
